Google Wallet

Android users can enjoy the benefits of making simple, convenient payments on all eligible devices and operating systems with Google Wallet. If you have used Google Pay in the past, you are encouraged to make the switch to Google Wallet, as Google Pay became unavailable for all users effective June 4, 2024.

When you add your FNB debit card or credit card to Google Wallet, you can easily use the tap-to-pay feature wherever contactless payment is accepted. Additionally, you can store concert tickets, gift cards, your driver’s license, and other important cards you’d like to access on the go.

Google Wallet does not share your real card number with businesses when you make a payment, so you can rest assured that your payment information is secure. Learn more about Google Wallet here, or contact your Personal Banker for assistance!

Steps for Simple Setup

  1. Open the Google Wallet app on your phone or download it on Google Play.
  2. Tap “Add to Wallet.”
  3. If you’re new to Google Wallet, you’ll be asked to add a card the first time you open the app. Use your phone’s camera to scan a debit or credit card, or enter the card details manually.
  4. You’re ready to make contactless payments at eligible merchants!
