Jeremy Menning
Retail Banking Manager
Hometown: Edgerton, MN
Education: South Dakota State University
Originally from Minnesota, I moved to South Dakota to earn my bachelor’s in economics from SDSU.
I joined the Bank in 2011, but I have more than two decades of experience in the banking industry from holding several different retail banking positions throughout my career. Currently, I serve as Retail Banking Manager and have the pleasure of leading our large and talented team of Tellers, Personal Bankers, and Branch Managers.
I’m honored to work at First National because of the rich workplace culture and the way the Bank treats customers and employees alike; the extraordinary service at this family-owned organization is truly unmatched.
On top of my decades-long career in banking, I proudly served my country in the Minnesota Army National Guard for 12 years as a Staff Sergeant and Howitzer gun chief. My time in the military has been a valuable part of my overall development as a person and a leader.
Furthermore, I served as the mayor of Hartford, SD, for six years, and I’m proud of the growth that community has experienced.
These days, you can find me spending my free time with my two children, supporting their sports and activities, or doing almost anything outdoors.
