Tell us about your background: where you grew up, where you went to school, industry experience, and volunteer work. I grew up in Hull, Iowa, and attended Dordt College and Northwest Iowa Community College.

FNB's response to Sioux Falls face covering mandate

The following is a message from our president and CEO, Chris Ekstrum. As many of you are likely aware, on November 17, 2020, the Sioux Falls City Council passed a mandate requiring face coverings inside businesses and city facilities.

Bryant was born and raised in Pipestone, MN, and attended the University of North Dakota, where he earned a degree in investments. After college, he moved to the Twin Cities and worked in retail management.

Bailey grew up on a farm south of Flandreau and graduated from Flandreau High School. Later, she earned her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees in business administration from Globe University.

Derek grew up in Chester, South Dakota. After attending Southwest Minnesota State University for two years and majoring in chemistry, he transferred to Dakota State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance.

Jon grew up on his family’s farm in southwest Minnesota near Sherburn, thinking he’d be a farmer. After the farm crisis in the 1980s, he changed course and chose to go to college to earn a degree.
