Ag Banker

Hometown: Tulare, SD
Education: South Dakota State University

Some of my fondest childhood memories are from when my grandparents, Gilbert and Zelda, owned the sale barn in Redfield. From playing on the catwalk to meeting local farmers and helping during sales, those formative times helped develop my passion for agriculture.

I have been serving farmers through the financial services industry for the past seven years and was an agronomist prior.

Farmers and ranchers put their blood, sweat, and tears into their operations, and I find unexplainable joy in assisting with growing and sustaining those operations for generations to come.

As an outgoing, honest, and upfront person, I feel that communication is one of my strengths as an Ag Banker. In good times or bad, I’ll tell it to you like it is — and then we’ll work through any challenges together.

If that sounds like the type of banker you’re looking for, then I would appreciate you giving me a call!

In my downtime, I enjoy pheasant and deer hunting; a little fishing now and then; watching the Vikings, Twins, Jackrabbits, and Tar Heels; and playing a lot of basketball.

My wife, Kira, and I enjoy taking trips and exploring, as well as spending quality family time with our young children, McCoy and Sylvie, and our bulldog, Zola. Additionally, we both teach Sunday school for the high school class at our church.
