Tell us about your background: where you grew up, where you went to school, industry experience, your family, and volunteer work (if applicable).
I was born and raised in Yankton, SD. After high school, I moved to Sioux Falls and attended Colorado Technical University for business administration.
Prior to joining FNB, I tried my hand at a few jobs but landed at the Great Plains Zoo for 12 years. During my time there, I had a client who worked in the FNB Wealth Management department, and through this relationship, my adventure at FNB began in 2019.
The Bank has been a leading hand in growing my volunteer experience. I have participated in Rake the Town, Make-a-Wish, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, FNB’s KindnessFirst initiative, and personal church events.
As for family, I am the youngest of three siblings with two older brothers. My husband, Nick, and I have two children, ages nine and three. They keep us very busy! We also have two dogs: Jax, our German Shepherd, and Sully, our Bloodhound.
What’s your role at FNB? What does your day-to-day work look like?
As a Client Service Associate in the Wealth Management department, I provide administrative support to two Trust Officers and our clients.
My daily work includes communicating with clients and helping with requests related to their accounts, reviewing client account activity and incoming documents, and preparing opening and closing account information and external documents.
What’s your favorite thing about FNB?
This is a family-oriented business! They treat you like family and know that your family comes first. Also, they have amazing support for our community and really focus on the growth of their employees. I have a lot of “favorites” when it comes to FNB.
What’s your personal motto?
I’m not sure I have a motto, but I guess I would say something along the lines of: you only get one shot at this thing called life, so love hard, laugh often, be nice, and be yourself!
What’s a problem you wish you could solve?
Hmmm, me overthinking this question…
On a lighter note, walking into a room and forgetting why I went there in the first place. Then it takes me walking back out to remember! Can anyone relate?
If you had $500 to spend at any local business, where or what would you spend it on?
I’m a big fan of Downtown SF, so it would be fun to order food, desserts, and drinks from different restaurants and have an outside dinner party with friends and family. Although, shopping at my favorite boutiques sounds nice too!
